Over the coming weeks there are going to be significant, and I suspect at times, heated debate about the current proposals of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society to transition to the Royal College of Pharmacy.
I like many pharmacists am now reviewing the “information” being shared and placed in the public arena by many organisations and individuals. Add to the mix, the many colourful characters in the world of pharmacy, and you have a set of conflicting views, conflicting information and sadly at some point, challenges on peoples’ character.
So I’ve decided to try to pull together the many sources of information, and perspectives on the matter – this is for my own journey and thought process to my individual vote, but I thought it might be potentially of use for others.
I do this with the caveats
- I am not endorsing a position or an individual in sharing theses sources
- I am not publicly attesting to the validity of the positions of some commentators.
- I will not be sharing my own view, or voting preference before the result of the Special Resolution Vote.
- I encourage you to review, challenge and then formulate your own view on the SRV.
